11 AM Sunday Homily Service
Our Sunday Service is a time when our congregation gathers to share joys & concerns, reconfirm our covenant, sing together and hear the Homily, presented each week by different members of our church.
5 PM Friday Dharma Study AND MEDITATION Group
The Meditation & Dharma Group is led by Mark Howell & Martha Dodgen. The first 30 minutes is spent discussing a topic and then there is typically a 30 minute guided meditation.
1st and 3rd Saturdays Meaning of Life Study Group
The Meaning of Life Study Group meets at 10:45 AM on the First & Third Saturday of each month. This discussion group is facilitated by Martha Dodgen. Past topics have included Eastern Thought & Ideas, Western Philosophy, and selected passages from the world's major religions.
3rd Sunday Food Fellowship
Every 3rd Sunday immediately after the Homily service we go and try a new local Arlington restaurant to commune of good food and even better company. Let us know your restaurant suggestions!
Last Sunday Potluck
The only requirement is that you bring an appetite! The last Sunday of the month, immediately following the homily service, we have a potluck and catch up with old friend and new ones too! If you would like to bring a dish we have a refridgerator and several plugs for crockpots.
