About Arlington Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Arlington Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is a Member-led Congregation. We do not have a paid, professional ministerial staff. Instead, our congregation members are responsible for developing our programs, events, study groups and services. Our Sunday Morning 10 AM Presentation & Discussion and our 11 AM Homily are delivered by selected congregation members & invited guest speakers.

What to Expect at an Arlington UU Sunday Service

What NOT to Expect:

1) That we will try to convert you, intimidate you or push you to join our church or adopt a new set of beliefs. 2) The Same Old Thing Every Sunday! While the order of the Sunday Service is mostly the same each Sunday, our lay leaders, speakers, and topics of the Homily change each week. Check out our Calendar of Events for upcoming topics. 3) That we will try to pressure or guilt trip you about making a financial donation.

What you can Expect:

1) We are a friendly group of folks who are happy to welcome our guests and first-time visitors. 2) Below is our standard order of worship. We do our best to begin our Sunday Service at 11 AM and to end at Noon. 3) The weekly Homily is presented each week by different members of the church plus occasional visiting speakers. Check out our Calendar of Events for upcoming topics.

Our Denominational Affiliations

UUA

Our History
Arlington Unitarian Universalist Church was founded in the mid-1960s by a group of like minded thinkers who included University of Texas at Arlington professors, nurses, engineers and doctors, along with their families and friends. Their goal was to build a local church where people could explore Faith, Religion, and Spiritual Growth & Development in an atmosphere of individual freedom and personal responsibility. With those goals in mind, the congregation joined the newly created Unitarian Universalist Association.

Donate to our FELLOWSHIP

We are a small fellowship with a small budget. We do not beg and berate our members and attendees to "give more." But we do have a budget and financial needs. Our address is 2001 California Ln Arlington TX 76015. We are able to accept cash, check and Zelle payments at this time.
We seek to welcome you: your whole self, with all your truths and your doubts, your worries and your hopes. Join us on this extraordinary adventure of faith
